• Swimming at one of Moultrie Counties public beaches on Lake Shelbyville: Sullivan Beach, Wilborn Creek, and Wolf Creek State Park. On rainy or winter days, you can come into town and swim in the Sullivan's Olympic-size indoor swimming pool.
• Fishing with easy access for children at Sullivan's Wyman Park or at Woods Lake on Lake Shelbyville.
